Karen Jones is a Victoria-based artist working at the intersection of painting and object. Her practice blurs distinctions between traditional painting and manufactured surfaces, drawing on influences from minimalism, geometric abstraction, and technology. Alongside works that engage fabrication processes, she also creates traditional paintings that emphasize pure geometry, flat planes, and solid colour.

She holds a Diploma of Fine Arts from the Vancouver Island School of Art and has also studied at the Victoria College of Art.
